Fertility assessment is a very important step in fertility treatment.Many infertile couples spend their many fertile years to find out the causes of infertility.
Through the process of a fertility assessment, you will undergo a series of tests to check . We need to have the following things in place before you consent to treatment:
FEMALE FERTILITY ASSESSMENT – INCLUDES:
- History taking by clinical coordinator, including lifestyle assessment
- AMH blood test
- Pelvic ultrasound scan (antral follicle count, endometrial assessment)
- Tubal assessment (by HSG/ SSG)
- Consultation with a consultant to discuss about the repots and treatment options.
MALE FERTILITY ASSESSMENT – INCLUDES:
- History taking by clinical coordinator, including lifestyle assessment
- Semen Analysis performed by an Andrologist to assess sperm count, motility and morphology
- Males will need to abstain from undergoing the semen analysis, in order to obtain ejaculation 2-3 days (no more or less) prior to undergoing the semen analysis, in order to obtain optimum results.
- Follow-up Consultation with consulant to discuss about the results .
